In order to improve deliverability of your email campaigns, we recommend that you create a Sender Policy Framework (SPF) and DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) record for your domain. The objectives of creating these records is basically (in a laymen's terms) the setting up of conditions for your hosting server to give permission to Appxonic Email to send bulk emails on your behalf.
This will prevent spammers from sending messages with forged "From" addresses at your domain. Recipients can refer to the SPF record to determine whether a message purporting to be from your domain comes from an authorized mail server.

Note: Editing DNS might affect your domain/hosting/emails, as such, if you are not familiar we recommend the hosting provider or seek our assistance .

  1. Log in to the administrative console for your domain eg. cPanel, PLESK, etc.
  2. Locate the page from which you can update the DNS records.
You may need to enable Advanced Settings.

Enter the Values Below to add the SPF Record

TTL: 14400
Type: TXT
TXT Data: v=spf1 ip4: mx ~all

Click the "Add Record" button

Enter the Values Below to add the DKIM Record

TTL: 14400

Click the "Add Record" button

Give your hosting provider some time to propagate the new SPF and DKIM records. To test whether the records are successful, proceed to login>Settings>Validate your email address. Insert your domain name to the space provided and click on Validate. Follow the instructions to Validate DNS.

  1. Replace '' with your domain name eg.
  2. You can provide an optional period "." at the end of the Name field after your domain e.g. ( your hosting provider may or may not want the additional period depending on their system
  3. If you are not sure, you are advised to pass the URL link to this article to  your webmaster or seek our assistance.
